At some point {in the not too distant future}, I’d like to have our basement finished.

The other day while I was doing laundry, I looked over and here’s what I saw:

A kid — my kid — who looks like he could be six — engrossed in play. And again, People.

I just found myself wanting to hit the pause button on the clock. To slow down just a teeny tiny little bit.

Time is a thief. So I’m making sure I do my damnedest to live every single second.
