Test Driving.

IMG_9250Test driving strollers is eerily similar to that of cars.

Do I like the look? The feel?

What are my needs? What important features does it have that make it a good fit for everyday use?

What needless features does it have that will only annoy me?

And how good is that rain shield and all wheel suspension?

Wheel suspension is a very real and serious thing with strollers these days, People.

I’m leaning towards this UppaBaby Vista. FoH’s big enough that I don’t need nor would use a double stroller yet I still like the possibility of having an option available for him to use on extra long outings/walks in the event he becomes tired.

The Vista comes with a standing board I can attach {okay, so technically it doesn’t come with it – – I have to order it}. It does, however, come with this beautiful bassinet. How great to be out and about and baby can sleep comfortably and peacefully.

I also plan to use it as our bassinet at home. Yes, another additional add on for purchase item — the {bassinet} stand.

Lastly, I love the this seat can be used in multiple ways. It fully reclines and can be modified to accommodate growing baby.

Plus it’s pretty sleek with a great under carriage for plenty of storage — critical for me now with almost two kids.

I love our BoB stroller still. But am disappointed that it’s coming apart. Literally, the fabric is coming apart for thed second time. It hasn’t held up too well. The first year I had to get a brand new one — thankfully it was under warranty. The wheels have popped more times than I can count from going over glass and there’s barely any storage room whatsoever underneath.

I’ll still use it. I’m sure of that. But I definitely needed something new.

Which also means a completely different car seat system.  Which is fine because we had FoH in his infant seat till he maxed out at the 32 {or was it 34} pound limit. That was a sh*t ton of use and I figured we should probably just go ahead and start with a new seat.

To be on the safe side.

I’ll keep you guys posted on what we do. I wasn’t too impressed with UppaBaby’s carseat that fits the stroller. It struck me as bulky and heavy.

Every pound of additional carry weight counts ten fold in Motherhood, People.
