The Month: In Review.

I find it {almost} difficult to believe that it’s the last day in November.

Amazing.

One month to go of 2011.

So, the month in review. I begin with …

Books.

Four. Yes, four! I have indeed read four whole entire books. This month. Not as in like my whole entire life.

The first two in Christopher Paolini’s Inheritance series — for those of you who know what I’m talking about, yes, I am reading Eragon.

For any possible haters out here, don’t bother.

I’m all about dragon rider tales. This shouldn’t be surprising … Wrinkle In Time, what what?

I really am so into these books. I just started Brisingr last night.

So good. So enthralled. Way more into this than I was Harry Potter.

The other two books on my list?

The Hunger Games.

Yeah, I’m all about series’ this month.

Not the best, award winning writing on both ends, but the mission has been accomplished: to get back to the fun and joy of reading.

To be captivated by a story. To live in that fantastical world. And pretend that I am a total badass warrioress that has special powers.

In other November news, the studio continues to make huge strides.

Just look at the below pic. Now, I know it might not seem like much to you. And I don’t blame you for that.

However, boys and girls, this is progress in the live and flesh. Studio style.

Parts are being disassembled. Rust is coming off. The broken part is being fixed, should be ready sometime in the next couple of days.

In other review news:

I’ve had great time with family {love you, Aunt J}

I’ve lost about a pound and a half.

I’ve been writing every day

I abstained from buying even one article of new clothing {a true feat}

And, lastly, until I can remember other noteworthy November news: My yoga practice continues to deepen.

Since August, when I fully committed myself to the yoga path, and actually seeing through that … those days when I don’t feel like doing it or want to come up with some excuse … I don’t.

I get out my mat. And I go there. “There” is always  a new place with yoga, regardless of how many times I’ve done a pose.

Because “there” is always something new to be gained. Some insight, some deeper place within myself to go and let go.

I am finally beginning to truly understand the meaning I’ve heard thousands of times, that breath is life.

It’s been a very, very good month.
