Has pretty much taken up my world the last couple days.

Allow for an official introduction. Meet Eros. Our newest family addition, who is already proving to be one hell of a teacher.

See, People. See why I couldn’t just leave him! Why those eyes just bore straight into my soul and I knew he was meant for me.

Eros. It honestly wasn’t a high priority name on my list. Not like I have an animal name list but if I did, because I read or hear of cool pet names all the time or ones that would make great pet names and then I forget to write them down, it’d prob be middle to end-ish.

Except I happen to believe that not only do our animals choose us, they kinda, or at least try to, choose their name. Yeah, no clue how that works, I just think it does.

And every time I’d see him, my heart would do this little flutter jump. Truth talking. I’d instantly think, love love love, you are it. You are love in physical form.

Can’t really think of a better name to give him in this case than one representing the God of Love. With a name like that, he’s sure to keep me in check.

Love as the driving force in my life in all that I do.
