About Happy.

What, exactly, is it that has us so fascinated and perplexed by happiness?

Do you suppose it’s just part of the human condition? This teetering back and forth from the edge. Of desperately wanting to fling ourselves over while somehow remaining self contained enough not to just jump?

I think, happiness, like anything else in life, is just a continuous choice on the journey. A moment by moment thing. I’m sure I’m boring you and have already said all of this before.

I’m having Paris flashbacks talking about The Happy and how fab everything is, which is a hell of a lot easier to do when in Paris. Or Rome, or wherever is not your home and is some gorgeous world renowned destination.

I’m more into how you, all of us, deal with finding our happy place day in and day out. I wish there was a magic formula. Some sort of promised results à la late night As-Seen-On TV infomericals.

How I love those, by the way. It’s a small miracle our garage isn’t full of As Seen on TV products. Random interjection here — what the hell ever happened to SHAMWOW, anyway? It’s all WOW, People. Promise. I can still find it on the interwebs, just wondering what store I can go into and physically purchase it at since I can’t for the life of me find any Wal*Mart in a 100 mile radius of me that carries it still.

But back to The Happy.

Interesting how those who we deem as having “so little” are so often some of the happiest, and those who have “so much” can be so miserable.

Regardless, happiness does seem to be such an individual perspective and always a solely unique experience.
