It is nothing short of miraculous what happens when you’ve been dealing with sub zero temperatures and suddenly experience a day in the high 40’s — almost 50.

I swear I heard the angels singing and I’ve been skipping along like I’m Maria from The Sound Of Music {Maman’s fave movie, by the way}.

This peak of warmth isn’t just heating things up outside, I feel it thawing me out on the inside.

I’ve been driving with my window down, music loud. Feeling lighter and more care free. Feeling like … I’m going to make it at this life thing.
