Firsts.

Last night, as I layed FoH down in his crib, I whispered the same words I do each night.

I love you. You are changing the world. You are leading a generation. I love you.

As with all nights, he smiled and laughed, as usual. And then, this. This that made my heart skip a beat.

Ove you mama.

People. Did you read that! FoH loves me. Okay, duh. That’s an obvi. Saying it, actually saying it and hearing it is a first.

And there was nothing that could have prepared me for how beautiful that moment was. How everything that came before, felt like it was just for us. Just for me to hear those words.

No one can truly comprehend love until they have a child.
