Compassion.

People.

I cannot read about the refugees.
I cannot look at pictures of the refugees.

Without bursting into tears.

We are facing the worst humanitarian crisis since World War II.

It’s all enough to make me want to shut my eyes in denial. But there can be no denial, because we have a responsibility to and for one another.

We are here to take care of each other, one by one by one.

Instead of buying more gifts, I bought shoes. Blankets. Medicine. Food.

It is a small offering, but it is something. If each and every one of us felt called to answer The Call, we would end this crisis.

Let’s do it.

Check out the The Compassion Collective.

This right here – THIS — is Christmas.

I love you.
