Give-Receive.

One of the {many} things I find interesting about life, is that the more you give, the more you get.

And when I say get, I’m referring to receiving.

There can be a lot of mixed signals or messages about receiving … one of my favorite being the old catch phrase, “it’s better to give than receive.”

I say f that.

I want to give and receive. Isn’t it a two way street?

If we’re always giving — of ourselves, of our resources, whatever it may be, and not accepting something in return for our efforts, then what are we saying and more importantly — what is the message that we send as to how we feel about ourselves?

It might be undeserving or not worthy.

So throw those out the window. Because … really … who doesn’t like receiving things? It’s fun! And it’s a part of the circle of life.

They simply go hand in hand. I want to give and take. It’s one of the reasons I came back … and of course, we all know the candy is at the top of the list, too.

I think we should challenge ourselves more in giving and getting. Push the comfort boundaries. Help someone or something out. And then when it’s our turn to take something … we don’t make any excuses or if you’re like me ask {a thousand and seven times}, “are you sure”?

The give and the take. Ying. Yang. Same thing.
