As I was driving this morning, off to get the day started, I found myself annoyed.
Highly annoyed. Stuck behind a school bus. Is there anything more annoying than attempting to begin your day and then having it thwarted every 15 feet?
I personally, think not.
Anyway, as I was stopped for what felt like the 100th time, becoming more agitated by the minute, a truck on the other side of the street, also stopped, caught my eye.
With this following message across the front of the hood:
Start Your Day Happy!
I’ll be damned. If that isn’t a sign, I don’t know what is.
I found myself laughing and instantly calming down. Nothing like a nice little a.m. message from The People to help set me straight.
How true this is … start your day happy … which I know, might not exactly feel possible or even like something to attempt … but we could all try, right?
Just for the hell of it and for the fun of it … find something, anything to be happy about and to begin with that happiness.
Even when things feel like they are falling apart around us at a rapid pace … there is something, maybe something very small, but it is something … to be happy about.
Oh and as for my “space burn” … thought you would like to know, I have a nice little honey combish impression on my upper thigh.
And the stun gun? I’m slowly getting more comfortable with switching it on … Brother, on the other hand, thinks it’s a fabulous house hold item addition.
