I started out on my walk this afternoon and this sight stopped me dead in my tracks.

Light and Dark. It’s not an either/or.

It’s both. Together.

And I thought today, as I looked down, darkness engulfing my feet on the trail, while sunbeams filtering through the trees just so blinded my eyes … Maybe, just maybe … There really is nothing to fear.

Because the lightness and darkness are actually friends. They need each other to exist, which means we need them, too.

Fear is an illusion. All things are connected; all of us are connected.
