From Yesterday.

I’m sitting here, in full snow-ice recovery mode.

What that means is this:

1. I woke up at 11. Okay, so it was technically 11:03.

2. Brother had fixed a wonderful egg breakfast with some organic pomplemousse. That’s French for grapefruit, and quite possibly my fave French word.

I feel like it could mean anything but grapefruit. You could whisper it seductively into someone’s ear …

You, you, oh you are my pomplemousse. The emphasis falling on that last “mousse” part and ideally, you should linger on the “s'”.

See. They’d have no idea.

3. It’s now 12:19 p.m. I’ve been up just a little over an hour and I’m back in bed.

Recovery, I’m telling you. It’s a beautiful thing.

I’ve had no thoughts of venturing out anywhere today. My car is covered in a thick sheet of ice and the street isn’t looking so hot either.

Besides, this back in bed business is something I find to be of a glorious leisure activity.

I’m a big lounger. Yet I have trouble lounging, or justifying my lounging, because I can always think of a minimum of seven other things I should be doing.

Namely yoga or some new workout routine.

I live for the sweat.

So here I am, propped up with pillows galore {I just love lots of comfy, fluffy pillows} and a snack.

Imagine that. Me with a snack.

Shocker.

It’s a good one. Some new flavor of Kashi Go Crunch cereal.

That for some reason is not listed, or it’s that I can’t find it on their website – probably that.

It’s a Cinnamon Crunch flavor and it is divine! See. When I’m getting my Krogering on and thinking of what sweet treat I might want, I buy a Kashi Cereal.

I’m a strong devotee of their original – Go Lean.

Talk about a balanced cereal, which is already saying something, considering it’s a cereal.

Loaded with Fiber and Protein.

I mix mine in with Whole Plain Organic Yogurt. I know, more than a few of you are thinking: insert gag right here.

But give it a shot — it’s so good.

I especially love Stonyfield Farms’ brand.

I purposely buy sweet tasting, organic, yet still good for you cereals as a snack because … well, it tastes like a treat.

I feel like I’m the kid with their hand in the cookie jar.

Except this “jar” is actually good for you.

Highly recommend!

You know all this talk about food and organics and I think  I need a napper.

Yes. That’s just the thing on a day like today.

With a good yoga session to follow upon my waking dreams.
