Like all kids, FoH, really enjoys {and is into} his Birthday.
Nevermind that he thinks his birthday is always, tomorrow mama.
So we’ve started a new tradition at TC’s during dessert time. We sing Happy UnBirthday To You, with candle, of course.
As I watched FoH’s face completely light up in excitement and anticipation of his unbirthday the other night, it hit me:
I want to always be celebrating and fostering a sense of celebration into daily life. Upon looking back on his childhood, I want him to remember the feeling of how loved and utterly adored he was {and is}.
And I want to continue to look for the little things to celebrate.
