It’s hard — this coming and going of Maman.

Well, more so the goings. But it is how it is. This is just another representation of the balance, the cycle, and the circle that compromises all life’s events.

It doesn’t make it easy. However, it does make it easier to know: for every hello, there is a goodbye that waits.

For every full hearted moment, there are difficult ones, too. And it’s okay. We’re not doing anything wrong. It’s just part of The Process.

Today, instead of dreading and fearing The Process, I’m giving thanks.
