The culmination of all those times he tried to line up those damn teeth but just couldn’t get it.

As I went to put his jacket on him, he told me, No, mommy. I can do it now. Watch me. 

I hope, I pray that he continues to utter those same exact words to me. Over and over and over again.

I’ll always be there. Watching and loving and cheering him on.
