We have a family gathering/reunion/hangout/whatever it is tonight and from there, we’ll leave.

Not gonna lie: the energy factor of getting ready is low. But the thought of being back at DL, those trails and lake that await … my favorite forest, my Hemingway happy place … that is motivation and inspiration enough.

And I know : these times with just the three of us … they could be numbered.

It’s what I need. Right now, at this moment. I feel that truth.
