When in doubt: do the right thing.
Do it when it’s not convenient. Do it when you know it’s the right thing to do but you don’t feel like stopping.
With kids, I am late. A lot. It bothers me. I hate being late. But it’s the nature of the beast.
I was leaving Kroger, pressed on time {as usual} and walked past this woman. I went to get in my car and something told me to go back.
Help her.
I’m so glad I did. Her mobility wasn’t the greatest and I’m not sure how she would have gotten her groceries in her car.
It’s made me think much more about what I can be doing to help — simple, easy, quick things that don’t require anything other than a few minutes of my time.
I vow to do better and be better.
