The Yay : ringing in the closing of one year for the beginning of the next.

These past two weeks — it’s not easy for me to just take off, to leave this space and this place.

I’m a creature of habit. I pride myself on the day in and day out of my discplined habits. Yet, I know this is not sustainable.

This everyday. Without missing. I’m learning. I’m leaning into the grace of it being okay.

To take time. To be present. To not be so regimented. To find that balance.

So here, I am. Two weeks later. A full 14 days of just being with my people. Ringing in James’ third birthday.

So much joy. So much amazement. So much to marvel at. So much that I stand in living, breathing awe of.

I cannot wait to see what I create — what we create, together, in 2022.
