No Trespassing Trip.

I got back exactly two hours ago and have yet to stop moving.

Unpacking, walking B while catching up with Brother, laundry, and now I am about to get the yoga on.

What a weekend.

I hardly know where to begin and feel as though I was gone days upon days.

I have to admit … I started off like a deer in headlights at this place. It was very … open … very natural, very organic — and I mean that in every aspect of the word.

This was the epitome of natural living and I wasn’t so sure these peeps were feeling my high {heel} wedges and Marc Jacobs shades. But hey, I am who I am, and those things don’t make me any less or less spiritual of a person.

I was blown away by the graciousness of our hosts and their ability to be so accommodating and welcoming to all people from all walks of life to live on their property. Some of them retain paid positions on this farm, but a lot are just floating in and out, exchanging work for food and a place to crash.

It’s not the kind of life I could lead, and I am thoroughly in awe of anyone who can be so transient and free spirited.

Really though, I was most thrilled to be with my girls and spend such wonderful, quality time together.

The hours outside and getting the yoga on didn’t hurt either.

I think the trip can easily be summed up {though there will be more to follow and share} by this no trespassing picture.

Early on this weekend, I felt completely out of my element, that I was trespassing all over some private properties of personalities and beliefs and just plain living.

What I realized, however, is that it was more “stuff” that I was carrying around … things and judgements I didn’t even realize I had about others and then having been invited into such an environment as I was in … well, it was challenging.

Which is what made it so great. I was forced out of my comfort zone. And reminded that once again, we might seem very different from each other, but we’re not.

I want to trespass more. Step outside the box. Or state.
