I tend to believe that not only is there Birthday Weekend, Birthday Week and the actual Birth Day itself, there’s also the all important:

Birthday Month.

Cause you can never get enough of birthday celebrations, right?

Since today marks the beginning of May, it is officially Birthday Month Kickoff. This is also right about the time where I feel I am basking in the glorious energy of Taurus and soaking in the kick assness of it.

Seems I use the word “ass” an awful lot on here — no, you really weren’t imagining it. Specifically in terms of “kick” and “bad”. Hell seems to come up rather frequently, as well. Clearly these are some of my most used and treasured, not to mention, refined words.

Also! In other super important news, May horoscopes are available over at Astrology Zone. Susan Miller never ceases to rock my world — I’ll have to reassure The BF that she only does it to me once a month.

Today is also another important day … any guesses of what that is?

It’s May Day!

While we don’t have much to do with this holiday, it’s super big en Europe — and yes, it is a holiday. I found this out the hard way today when I called a guy in Norway, who happened to be at home and had to explain it was “National Holiday”. Oops.

Being the Francophile I am, I should have known it was May Day, but hey, I can’t win ’em all. At least not yet.

Honestly, I’m still kinda confused about what May Day is — if you’re interested in learning more about it, hopefully you clicked on the link above — mainly this is because it deals with one too many different things. I get the whole Blessed Mother/Virgin thing. For real, what holiday in Europe isn’t she involved in?

Yet it seems like every country is going to have their own personal flair or take on it, and these tidbits of info … well, they’re a tad tidbit too much for this Taurus brain to handle.

I’m only equipped with so much storage space above and unfortunately, historical facts don’t retain high on my list.

Back to Birthday Month. It’s T-minus 15 days and counting till the blessed event.
