Love Wins.

Keepin’ it real … ’cause that’s what we do …right … I started off this day feelingĀ  … a bit on the underside.

Hmm. There’s a new one for you … underside. As opposed to what … the over or upside? Guess so.

For starters it was super early. Like ridiculously early and I just wanted to stay all snuggled up in the warm bed. Then, it was really really cold and foggy out and I just plain was slow moving.

I mean … who wants to do anything on super cold, foggy and gray mornings? Or is this just me who wants to lay in bed, huddled up with B and a cat or three? And The BF.

I promise, by the way, I don’t have house-cat-dog-smell. I know this for sure, because my little M {niece} told me, in that adorable way children do, “and guess what, Auntie! My mom says it doesn’t even smell like animals in here.”

If anyone would notice bad animal home smell, it’d be my sister in law. And me, if it was any place but mine.

Back to my gray, dark morning … I decided I needed to snap out of it stat! I’m better than this … that’s what I thought … which is what we should all think … so obviously, I called upon The People for some assistance.

And within 15 minutes something walked by me, entitled, “Love Wins.” Yeah. Who knew somethings can even walk by you? Well, they can.

In this instance, the something was a book. I think it’s a book about God or Christianity or something like that … which you know, it’s totally cool because I’ve been making peace with my traumatic Christian-Church upbringing.

Which really has nothing to do with God and my belief in a higher source power that permeates and exists in this Universe, and you know — that’s been really freeing to realize I don’t have to let the crazy past Christian “you’re going to go to hell” interfere with my personal beliefs of what “God” is and means to me. Whew. I don’t know about you but I feel a post coming on soon about God.

Anyway back to : Love Wins.

What a rocking message. Is there anything else we really need?

Of course there’s always “things” … fun things at that to want or need or to buy but if we come from love first … love as the driving force in all that we do … do you think maybe we’d make big wins all across the board?

I think it’s high time I find out … so here we go … I’m going to try to come from this love place. I’m not going to say in and all that I do. That might be a bit too lofty of a goal at the moment.

But I’m going to say – I will try my best to be as aware as possible and come from a loving place. With people, with my thoughts, with my actions.

Oh, and in the car. Loving place while driving. And I tend to drop a lot of F bombs when driving … I’m kinda sad I’ll have to maybe give those up … but wait … if I’m coming from a loving place, can’t fuck still be … loving?

I’ll have to think on this one.
