You know what thrills me, more than anything, on a Saturday morning?

When I wake up and realize, holy shit, I have nothing to do today! NOTHING is going on!

It’s just glorious. The day all to me me meeeeeee. Whatever shall I do with myself?! It’s truly exciting, People. Doesn’t take much to get my hot buttons going now, does it?

There’s something so wildly wonderful in the freedom of having an entire day stretch out before you. Now more than ever I am savoring these kinds of days. Just me. The BF. Knowing we can do whatever we want to do when we want to do without having to answer to anyone.

Anyone being a newborn whose going to rule us.

It also helps that it’s warm. I consider pushing 50 to be like 78 in January. Considering that just earlier in the week we were in the negatives, it is a true doggone heat wave. I’ll take it.

I wish us all a Saturday in the free and clear — in the now. Do less today. You deserve it.
