Another warm day in these parts.

When I say warm, I mean warm … the high reached 74 and like yesterday, I took full advantage.

Sitting outside in the sun. Driving with all the windows down. Two walks with Murph. I couldn’t resist … I just had to get out and move more and I really can’t resist any time The BF and I are able to walk together.

My favorite time to walk is dusk. With that hint of light still left in the sky, the smell of the fresh air, and gentle breezes. I think it’s one of the best things to do as a couple. We always have wonderful conversations and the kicker is — there are no distractions.

No screens, no phones, no music. Just us. Present with one another.

The past two days {and nights} have been very necessary for my soul. There is something energizing and healing in this warmth and sunshine. I’m happier, more optimistic … dare I say …
