People. It still doesn’t feel real … that I have a son. A beautiful son.

I take in those red lips and his soft skin; that dark hair. I breathe him in, all of him, complete with that new baby smell. And when he goes limp in my arms and lets out a little sigh, my entire being is suffused with love.
