Today was another funeral.

So, really, another celebration.

What’s with the word, funeral, anyway? It just sounds depressing. I’d much prefer another word … like A Celebration Of Life service. I’m sure this term is already being used. I’m just slow.

My day was awesome. Getting to be with family, a lot of family I hadn’t seen in literally years.

And another reminder that what matters is this : passing these days with those whom we love and to all those whose path crosses ours — may we touch their life in some, small way.
