Happy 2016, People!

I figured since it is a New Year and all, it’s about time I actually start hanging up all the stuff I have around here.

Nothing like some new old decor to spice things up in the casa.

This mirror was one of the few possessions that made it from Germany with my great great grandmother, Kutungda.

You read that right — Kutungda.

Sounds more Native American than German to me, but what do I know? Brother and I always thought Gpa was making that name up. Till we found her headstone at the cemetery, horribly faded, but you could definitely make out the spelling.

Now. How to explain to FoH that you don’t touch low hanging mirrors?

I most likely will live to regret this hanging decision, but hey, it looks good. So there.
