Today I woke up to this perfect little being snuggling his way under my covers and arms.

I thought about how so much has changed in the two years since he arrived.

How terrified I was to become a Mother. How I thought I knew and understood Love. How the second he was placed in my arms, my heart broke open in ways I never knew possible.

I know we’re supposed to be the ones receiving all the, thank you’s, today. But really, I should be thanking him. For helping me to remember that Love knows no bounds. And it’s the only thing we, as Mother’s, need.
