And Ghandi. And many more of our Masters — alive and dead — that have been sent to us.

And. I can’t help but think, all of these Syrians. All of these Yezidis. All of these Yemini’s {is that even right?}, all of the people being tortured and raped and beaten and targeted in Burma — and throughout other countries in our world — they’re living, breathing examples of Jesus.

We talk about Jesus dying for us on The Cross.

To me, the real bad asses are those who are living through crimes against humanity, day in and day out.

This is where I draw my strength from these days. I think of these men, women and children and I am instantly thankful, humbled and brought back to the sobering reality of the challenges they face that I cannot really begin to understand.

They are my heroes, People.
