Pondering The Greater Mysteries Of Life.

I’ve been doing some deep thinking as of late and more than a few mysteries have crossed my roaming Bull mind.

In no particular order of perplexity:

1. Radio Stations.

How the heck can and do radio stations change literally overnight?

Or maybe it’s not even overnight. It might be within the span of an hour for all I know, or don’t know.

What I do know is that I am absolutely flabbergasted at how I can go from Jay-Z to Garth Brooks so so so … suddenly.

I feel betrayed!

They didn’t even have the human decency to warn me, to say goodbye.

Let me know their radio station would be going from Edited Radio Rap to twangy Country.

Can you tell I get attached to my radio stations? I can’t help it. I’m very sentimental.

2. Inaccurate photo representation.

I’ll never cease to be shocked by people who look amazing in pictures, then you meet them in the live and flesh and you can’t even recognize who they are.

They look nothing like as portrayed. How the heck does that happen?

And, is it better to look better in photos or in person?

I suppose it depends on the situation.

In a way, I think it might be in one’s favor to look better in person … because then everyone will be pleasantly surprised.

Isn’t it better to have people thinking, wow! She looks MUCH better in person.

Instead of: Wow! She looks ROUGH in person.

3. The Sun.

Why does the sun lighten hair but darken skin?

4. Lost Silence.

What about when you’re driving around either lost or looking for something and you turn the radio down?

Maybe I shouldn’t use the plural of “you” here and just stick to “I”.

Because when I’m driving around, on the lookout, I suddenly go from blasting the tunes to suddenly silent.

5. CDs & DVDs

Both CDs and DVDs are the same size … correct, yes? Yes.

Now.

Why is it that they’re packaged totally differently? Why waste all that extra space on a DVD?

Is it because it would seem too strange for a DVD movie to be the size of a CD, because of what we’re used to?

Where’s the green movement on this?

6. Gas Tank.

I don’t get it. Can’t every gas tank be located on the same side of every car?

Shouldn’t there be a universal car design rule for this?

I’ve lost count of how many times I can’t even keep straight what side of the car my tank is located on {Driver’s – I just checked}.

7. Toasters.

I will never comprehend toaster settings.

Case in point: Who in their right mind wants to eat toast that was put on an 8 or 9 setting, guaranteeing some lovely crispy, burnt bread.

No, thanks.
