Do A Little Dance.

Today is a very important, very significant day. Aunt J’s Birthday.

My fellow sixteener.

January 16th. May 16th. Sixteener, get it?

Okay, okay. So it’s not quite January 16th, but we’re pretending it is.

Yeah, we share a power number birthday. That makes us extra … powerful. At least that’s what I tell myself, you know, make myself feel cooler.

And considering my dance skills, I need more cool.

Speaking of dance skillz, that’s me dancing my little birthday jig for Aunt J.

And that’s me in my favorite Lululemon shirt. It also helps the cause that the name is Paris Pink.

Just to warn you now, I’m pretty sure you’ll be seeing it a lot. I’ve been wearing it constantly on the weekends.

You know it’s bad when your own grandmother greets you by first saying: Oh, it’s that hot pink shirt again.

It’s a well known fact around here: I have a thing for Lulu. I heart it.

So we had a nice family celebration for Aunt J, full of Douglas Lake talk {DL 2012} and Carvel Ice Cream Cake. It really is “what happy tastes like.”

Maybe I could send in a testament video. Like Jesus testaments, but instead mine will be all about Carvel.

How that first bite changed my life for the better. How I’ll never be the same person again. How I’ll strive to achieve and prosper. To reach for more and to help others.

All in the name of Carvel.

Hey. Jesus and ice cream cake have a lot more in common than you might think.

Who doesn’t deserve to experience the gloriousness that is both Jesus and cake meets ice cream?

I’ve been saved.
