On our way home, post 10 mile {North Country Trail} hike … we passed this lovely … followed by much fanfare and hoopla and “omg’s” from me to turn the car around.
I think The People are on a Bliss Campaign. Or maybe it’s a Project : Bliss. Either way, I’m all over it like B to her milkbones.
For myself, I know that this Bliss is about the everyday … wasn’t it Joseph Campbell who said, “follow your bliss”? What a wise dude.
Sometimes though … sometimes I get too caught up in feeling that I’m not feeling all that blissful … I momentarily forget that it isn’t about one constantly being in this state.
Besides that being almost impossible in my opinion {otherwise how would we even “know” or “recognize” what bliss is or feels like to us?} … it can be the simple things to bring our bliss around … on some days, that could be me just taking a nice walk with B.
Because isn’t that what it should be? That we ought to be going for … moments of Bliss … no matter how small or big.
Every damn day.
It might be a lofty goal, but it’s one that I think is well within reach … it’s just a question of : what are we going notice?
What do we choose to focus on?
