Restoring Faith.

Call me Pollyanna right now, but …

I absolutely, 1000000% believe this is one amazing, kind, gracious world we live in. That, is getting better and better. Sure, I temporarily forget. I get down about the state of things, but for me this is also a necessity to survival.

Do I want to believe the world is going to hell or do I want to believe it is good? I’d rather put my rosy glasses on and think the latter. It’s also necessary to who I am. If I hold on to hope and the good, I am holding on to the essence of me; of all of us.

Granted, it’s not easy to hold true to this … we all know the horrors that exist amongst us, and I am not trying to pretend they aren’t there when they are.

However.

I refuse to stop believing that when it comes down to it, there are more people who care than don’t care. More who help than don’t help and more that are doing some really rocking, amazing things to assist their fellow human beings.

These might be what we deem “little” things, but I also believe that it’s these little things that are actually the big things.

The simple acts of kindness and love and care … goes to show that when we watch out for each other, seeing people not as strangers, but as an extended part of our own family, the separation comes down.

And we are brought Together. Where we’ve always been.

To restoring your faith today.
