Sibling Love.

I spent my late night, into the early morning hours of today, hanging with my fave.

That should be a dead giveaway right thar, but for clarification, I’m talking ’bout my Brother, ya’ll.

I’ve been having a hard time sleeping soundly all week with The BF gone and was thrilled Brother said he’d spend the night with me.

Yeah. Sounds just as bad written as it does spoken.

As my dad asked us this morning at breakfast, what in God’s name were you doing up till 3:30?!

Fire. Talking. Hanging. More talking. More fire. Amazing ideas and plans that were flowing freely and jacking both of us up.

I don’t know what it is when we hang, but something weird happens with time. It literally seems to pass in three hour increments and then suddenly it’s thirty mins till 4 in the damn morning, and you realize, you better get your ass to bed.

Best time hanging with Brother. I love our conversations. I love how we can {and do} talk about everything and anything. No one I trust more than him.

I know our relationship mystifies a lot of people, probably because they’ve never spent one tenth the amount of time alone with one sibling as we have with one another in any given month.

Our sibling relationships are possibly, what I believe, the most powerful and withstanding relationship we will have throughout our entire lives.

And it’s one worth taking the time to work on. Always.
