Oh, my!

People, I’m like Dorothy right now. Except without her Toto {i.e. FoH} and instead of Ruby Slippers I’m sporting some Aetrex running shoes — so 21st century.

I’ve immediately been thrown into the love-fest whirlwind that is Rome.

We arrived this morning around 9:30 and hit the ground running. Literally. Okay, okay — so we hit the ground walking. Same thing when you’re jet lagged because there was no way I was going to sleep when!

When Air France had the first five eps of Season 7 of The Vampire Diaries. I mean, I owed it to myself to watch, right? Of course I did. Sidenote : it did not disappoint.

I’ve calculated it out that I’ve been going for over 24 hours at this point sans rest because it’s ITALIA and omg, forget sleep when you’re here because … well, ITALIA.

Right, no further explanation needed.

So now I am off to try to sleep and prepare for a day full of more churches, The Vatican and my absolute favorite — ancient Roman sites.

I can hardly control myself here. I’m convulsing at the mere thought of all of these worlds meeting tomorrow.
