Strange how life goes on, isn’t it?

In the midst of the most horrific tragedies, nothing stops.

There are still clothes to be washed, meals to make, houses to clean, bills to be paid.

I think of all the mothers out there who have lost children, the fatherless fathers, the babies with no parents. That takes me over with grief.

And to think — we think bombing the shit out of other people is an answer? To respond with violence?

There is too much destruction. That I will not be a part of. I am here and for better or worse, given whatever circumstances arise — beacause I realize how lucky of a situation I am in, how blessed I am — given the majority of our brothers and sisters — I have a responsibility to them.

Jeremy is obviously a f-ing superhero. I’m beginning to think he must have super powers, as well. It’s the only thing that makes sense given what a bad ass he is.

These guys are the real deal. They are on the ground, doing life saving work and you bet your bottom dollar, your dollar is going straight to need.
