You Know It’s Cold When.

The high is going to be -5. Yes, you really did read that correctly. I said -, as in 5.

I can honestly say that I have never, or at least that I can recall of, experienced a winter day in the negatives. I didn’t grow up in The Arctic, I grew up on the East Coast.

When it gets ridiculously cold there are two things I do … 1. Bust out The Snuggie. Best invention. Ever. Well, one of. 2. Play Jimmy Buffet.

Jimmy saves me. He whisks me away to warmth and crystal clear water and blue skies. If I close my eyes and concentrate hard enough, I can smell the salt water.

It’s a good practice in utilizing our skills of imagination. Plus, Law of Attraction says that The Universe cannot distinguish if the thought we are thinking is “real” or “imagined” — it simply responds to our vibration.

Here’s hoping I suddenly find myself awake on a white sandy beach …
